  • Visa & Immigration Services: Consultations with visa consultants and immigration specialists for visa applications, document review, and immigration guidance
  • Coaching & Mental Health: Life coaching, career transition support, cultural adjustment coaching, and licensed mental health services from therapists, counselors, and psychologists
  • Housing Services: Assistance with accommodation search, rental guidance, and housing support for individuals relocating internationally
  • VIP Concierge Services: Comprehensive relocation support combining multiple services with personalized consultation and coordination

Our platform facilitates scheduling, communication, and payment processing between users and service providers. While we vet our providers, we do not directly provide these services ourselves and are not responsible for the content of individual sessions or the advice provided by independent service providers.

3. Service Purpose and Scope

We are committed to creating a safe environment that complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Visa & Immigration: Our platform connects you with independent immigration consultants and specialists. We do not provide legal advice. Immigration providers on our platform are not attorneys unless specifically stated in their profiles. Always verify credentials and consult with licensed attorneys for legal matters.
  • Coaching & Mental Health: Mental health services are provided by independent licensed professionals where indicated. Coaching services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment. Users experiencing mental health emergencies should contact local emergency services.
  • Housing Services: We facilitate connections with housing specialists but do not guarantee accommodation availability, conditions, or lease terms. Users should independently verify all property details and legal agreements.

4. User Accounts

4.1. Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.
4.2. Users under 13 must have parent or guardian consent to use the Service.
4.3. Account credentials must be kept secure and confidential.
4.4. Users are responsible for all activities that occur under their account.

6.4. Service providers (tutors, visa consultants, coaches, housing specialists) set their own rates, which are clearly displayed before booking.
6.5. Cancellation and refund policies are determined by individual providers and will be disclosed before booking.
6.6. We may charge platform fees, which will be clearly disclosed before payment.
6.7. All prices are displayed in the currency selected by the user, and currency conversion fees may apply.
6.8. Currency conversion notice: Prices shown in your local currency are approximate based on hourly updated exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates. You will be charged in the provider’s currency; your bank or payment provider may apply additional foreign exchange fees.
6.9. VIP concierge services may involve custom pricing based on your specific needs, which will be discussed during your consultation and agreed upon before services commence.

7. Data Privacy and Collection

7.1. We collect and store personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email addresses, names, profile information, phone numbers, and payment details.
7.2. We do not sell user data to third parties.

8. Intellectual Property

8.3. Users retain ownership of content they create or upload to the platform.
8.4. By uploading content, users grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and store such content for service provision.

9. Service Provider Relationships

9.1. All service providers (tutors, visa consultants, immigration specialists, coaches, therapists, counselors, and housing specialists) are independent contractors, not employees of LottaLingo.
9.2. We do not guarantee the quality, effectiveness, or outcomes of services provided by individual providers.
9.3. Users are encouraged to report any inappropriate provider behavior.
9.4. We reserve the right to remove providers from our platform at our discretion.
9.5. Users agree not to circumvent our platform to arrange direct payments with providers.
9.6. Provider credentials displayed on profiles are self-reported; users should independently verify professional licenses where applicable.
9.7. For visa and immigration providers: We do not guarantee visa approval or any specific immigration outcome. Providers offer guidance and support, but final decisions rest with relevant government authorities.
9.8. For mental health providers: Licensed therapists, psychologists, and counselors practice under their own professional licenses. LottaLingo does not supervise or direct their clinical work.
9.9. For housing providers: We do not guarantee housing availability, conditions, or lease terms. Any rental agreements are between you and the property owner/landlord.

10. Limitation of Liability

10.1. We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind.
10.2. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10.3. Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the six months prior to the claim.
10.4. We are not responsible for the content of sessions or user-generated content.
10.5. We are not liable for any immigration decisions, visa denials, or legal consequences arising from immigration advice received through our platform.
10.6. We are not liable for any housing-related disputes, lease issues, or property conditions.
10.7. We are not liable for any outcomes from coaching or mental health services provided through our platform.
10.8. Users acknowledge that international relocation involves inherent risks and uncertainties that are beyond our control.

11. Dispute Resolution

11.1. Platform Role in Initial Refunds: LottaLingo may, at its sole discretion, facilitate initial refunds in cases of no-shows, clear violations of Terms of Service, or technical platform failures. Our decision to issue or deny a refund is final.
11.2. Limitation of Responsibility: While we may assist with initial dispute resolution, LottaLingo bears no responsibility for the ultimate resolution of disputes between users and service providers. We are not liable for any losses, damages, or issues arising from service provider relationships.
11.3. Independent Dispute Resolution: Users and service providers agree that any legal disputes between them will be resolved independently without involving LottaLingo as a party to any legal proceedings. By using our Service, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold LottaLingo harmless from any claims related to disputes between users and providers.
11.4. Any disputes arising directly between users and LottaLingo shall be resolved through arbitration.
11.5. The arbitration shall take place in a jurisdiction decided upon between the parties.
11.6. The arbitration shall be confidential, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
11.7. For housing disputes: Any issues with property conditions, lease agreements, or landlord relationships are solely between you and the relevant parties. LottaLingo has no obligation to mediate housing disputes.
11.8. For immigration disputes: Any issues arising from visa applications, denials, or immigration proceedings are between you and relevant government authorities. LottaLingo is not a party to immigration cases.

12. Termination

12.1. We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion without notice.
12.2. Users may terminate their account at any time through the account settings.
12.3. Upon termination, users will lose access to their account and any scheduled sessions or ongoing services.
12.4. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
12.5. Termination does not affect any pre-existing agreements or obligations between users and service providers.

13. Changes to Terms

13.1. We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on our website.
13.2. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13.3. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service.
