What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?

Cancellation Windows

Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both students and tutors:

  • 24+ hours before: Full refund
  • 12-24 hours before: Lesson credit
  • Less than 12 hours before: No refund
  • Tutor cancellation: Full refund + 20% credit bonus

All cancellation windows are based on your lesson's scheduled start time.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or reschedule your lesson:

  • Log into your account dashboard
  • Find the lesson under "Upcoming Lessons"
  • Click "Cancel" or "Reschedule"
  • Follow the prompts to complete the process

Using Lesson Credits

If you receive a lesson credit:

  • Credits appear in your account immediately
  • Can be used for any future booking
  • Never expire
  • Automatically applied to your next booking

Special Circumstances

We understand that emergencies happen. Special consideration may be given for:

  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)
  • Technical issues on our platform
  • Natural disasters
  • Tutor no-shows
