'I Choose Bulgaria' Initiative Launches in September

A rising trend I'm seeing is governments, recognizing the issue of demographic collapse, creating massive incentive programs to lure talent back from abroad. I'll do a full list of countries soon, but Bulgaria is the latest to launch their program.

They've created a €33MM fund to bring workers to Bulgaria to address a 260K shortfall in working population. As a part of the program:

• Language training will be provided to those who don't speak Bulgarian
• A daily transport allowance up to €3.5 is planned to assist with getting to/from work
• "Financial incentives" will be provided to cover the shortfall between domestic salaries and higher salaries abroad
• Re-location assistance including a housing allowance will be provided

Applications open in September and according to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy, >1K people are expected to take advantage of the initiative.
