We worked on my written work, an IELTS Task 1 letter. She corrected my mistakes carefully and thoroughly and proposed many better sentences. At the end of the class we talked about Women’s Day – it was a lot of fun. I feel very happy and relaxed in Anna’s classes.

At the beginning of the course, the teacher will first ask about the goal and the English skills I want to improve. Since my goal is IELTS 5.5, but the preparation time is only two months, the teacher will quickly follow my level after the first class and schedule the teaching plan for me. In the first one or two classes I was very nervous and could not relax, but the enthusiastic teacher used different methods to activate the atmosphere. When I made a mistake or did not understand, she slowed down and re-explained so I could adapt to the full English environment. Even though my course only focused on speaking, the teacher offered writing exercises after class and helped me correct grammar mistakes and gave suggestions. Two weeks before the exam we simulated the IELTS Speaking test which reduced my nervousness, and Teacher Anna reminded me of test-answering skills. After all the IELTS courses I could feel my English conversations become organised, and I’m very happy I achieved my IELTS goal – my score is even higher than the original 5.5! (Mar 24 2022) My Student Visa to the USA has been approved. 😻 You were very helpful. Thank you for your time and all the advice. Truly great teacher!

Teacher Anna is a good teacher. She can provide students’ situations at different times, like work in the office or studies at the school. She understands very well the real needs of students studying at work or school.

I’ve had class with Anna for almost 2 years. She is great and passionate, encouraging me and always letting me be positive. I used to give up and stop trying to improve my English.
