I am a personal and professional EFL teacher/Cambridge Speaking Examiner and Teacher Trainer with nearly 20 years of teaching experience globally. My mission is to help learners reach higher levels of English through student-centred instruction and practical language use. I have lived, taught, and volunteered in Guatemala, China, Indonesia, Spain, Poland, England, Russia, and Ukraine—experiences that have deeply shaped my understanding of how different nationalities approach English as a second language. This international perspective allows me to tailor my teaching to the specific linguistic and cultural challenges students face, helping them overcome common pitfalls and build real-world communicative confidence. My teaching practice incorporates a wide range of methodologies, with a strong emphasis on the communicative approach. Additionally, I regularly lead teacher training sessions, design syllabi, and create assessment materials to support academic development within schools.

Thomas is very flexible and adjusts the teaching materials and assignments according to students’ needs. During class, he rarely interrupts or corrects conversations unless there is a serious error, which helps create a comfortable learning environment. Thomas also takes the time to write down common mistakes and slips based on the day’s lesson, allowing students to review and reflect after class. This approach makes it easier to consolidate what we have learned and improve gradually.

I have known Thomas since 2015, when I went to him for private English lessons. Since then, I have only dealt with anything related to English with him. In addition to standard teaching, in February 2021 we focused together on comprehensive interview preparation (CV, cover letter, USP, interview simulation, etc.). Thomas is a very patient and friendly person, who always fascinates me with his detailed preparation for given topics. During his lessons, one not only learns English, but also improves communication skills, which are also applied in one's native language.

I took individual courses of English with Thomas. He is great teacher with a lot of experience from different parts of the world. After three months of his classes, I successfully passed my academic IELTS exam and got admission at University of Alberta in Canada.
