Bebel is so experienced to upgrade students step by step. When i began to follow her lesson, i only knew several words. Just after 3 months, i could chat with her in simple portugues i learned in the lessons. It is very important to open mouth to speak during language learning. If you want to find an effective teacher in portugues learning, Bebel would be the ideal choice.

Belkis is hands down the best Portuguese teacher I have had. The key to language acquisition is to talk, talk and talk. And with Belkis, I am able to discuss and express my thoughts freely in Portuguese without having to feel constrained by my own limitations or feeling judged. After I finish the thought, Belkis corrects me and provides me with examples of how I am able to use certain words or grammar structures more naturally. Belkis is awesome to work with. She is exactly what I wanted as she is laid back and fun with a great spirit like a true Brazilian. She makes the classes easy, easy to enjoy and fun. She also makes sure you know about how certain words or idioms that are used in Brazil which is important as I am around a fair amount of Brazilian people and want to learn how to talk with them. She is fun and easy going and the notes she writes up I can easily download and refer to all week long until my next lesson. She is very encouraging.

Belki always brings up interesting topics and is super enthusiastic about teaching. I've been encouraged to improve my Portuguese by reading some books she suggested. Since my main difficulty is understanding spoken conversation which uses many expressions, we have been discussing many of those idioms, slang, phrases and even cultural jokes. You'll learn a lot and have fun with her!
